Hello! Aj and Sarah here. On Tuesday, August 30th, with heavy hearts (but excited spirits,) we left our quaint but undeniably grand, Philadelphian skyline.

We made the 8 hour journey from Philadelphia, PA to Columbus, OH via I-70 West. For this stretch of the road, we had a lovely and more than able driver, Ken, hauling our sleeping persons to destination--a luxury I'm sure, in the weeks to come, we will miss.  Most of the ride, I (Aj Rombach) sat on a strange clown box that Sarah uses to store prized possessions. It had to be outfitted with a pillow about 90 mins into the drive. Apparently, Pennsylvania is a very long state and more than a few stops were necessary. 

Columbus, OH was reached; and we celebrated with a few proper gin and tonics. 

Over the past few days, Sarah and I have been organizing our supplies and training. A strict regimen of 8 mile runs and barbed-wire-fence-hopping have been paired with a liquidized spinach diet. What maybe we forgot to mention is this will be a Thelma and Louise sort of road trip.
